HELP! My chicken is gasping for air, rattling noises and sneezing after it eats food!!!

My poor baby is gasping for air, and sneezing a lot after she eats food....it will last till she passes everything which can take hours of struggling to breathe and then it seems she calmed down and stopped gasping or sneezing until she decided to eat again and now it’s starting all over again!! I can’t figure out what her problem is. I done tried a q tip 4x throughout the day to see if it was gapeworm and it comes out clear every time. Examined her throat and I see no blockage at all. I’ve also had chickens in past with respiratory infections and I don’t think this is the same thing! I gave her Tylan shot anyways to be on safe side. And some olive oil. I need help please!!! And her crop is not full or hard at all. It’s feels like nothing is really there. I’m stumped and need help! She’s probably 5 months old and is part bantam mix. Please help!!

Calling the vet is always a 'good call'... get it?... Ok, sorry about the joke! Tell the vet what has happened or mabey keep giving her wormers (not too many). As weird as this may sound, can you check her poop and tell me what it looks like (normal, runny, bloody, etc)? That way I might be able to help possibly. Have no vet to call that would know about poultry or else I would have her checked in a heart beat...Her poop looks normal I think. I can get a picture of it. She is still living and eating but kinda walks around lethargic looking. I don’t see gasping but rarely here and there now unless she’s picked up she will gasp. She acts very sore when touched. I can’t imagine what is going on She’s my baby

What is her water intake like .Will she eat and eat then act like she is choking ? If that is the case .mabe add a larger grit for her .Take away any large pellets an large grains.Try feeding a mash .Be sure she is drinking enough water.

Also, when did this start, is it new? Did anything change about the time this started, like a change in feed? Can you check her crop at night and then again in the morning before she has a chance to eat or drink so you can tell if it has emptied overnight?

What do her nares look like? Swollen? Clogged with crusty stuff?

We need to see a photo of this chicken showing the color of the comb.

If it's not a simple thing like clogged nares, I suspect an avian virus such as lymphoid leucosis that may be causing tumors that are either growing in and on the organs or elsewhere crowding the organs so they are now not functioning. She's in the age window for LL for a chicken that has contracted the virus while in the egg.

When I had her close to me I notice she is breathing loud coming from her nose. (Sounds Like she’s kinda blowing air OUT of her nose with force) And makes a very little chirp noises by mouth here and there. I don’t think you will be able to hear it on a video. Her nose is normal not crusty or nothing. She picks at her skin like she keeps grooming herself too a lot.
