2 days ago, I noticed one of my chickens was struggling to breath. I have checked best I could for an obvious obstruction. Her crop is full and has been for two days. I have tried giving her mineral oil, while giving her water and antibiotics. She is still alive, but I don't know what to do next? Has anyone experienced with this? Thanks so much in advanced!

It is probably either sour crop or impacted crop. Is her crop hard or soft like it is full of liquid - or both (liquid filled but with a hard mass). Hard crop is impacted. Soft with hard mass is an impacted crop that has gone sour. Just soft is a sour crop from a bacteria imbalance.

$381 vet visit for antibiotics & Reglan! Reglan helps empty the crop. 14 days later now it seems she has an obstruction, she only gasps for air when we pick her up for meds. $200 for an xray to confirm then treat. I'm looking for answers on how to help her dissolve the obstruction. Antibiotic was generic Bactrim
