I agree,I also believe that dogs who come with with some sort of trauma require an even larger amount of attention and rehabilitation, which I am not able to provide. I did not choose to bring the dogs home and I would love to rehome them, but I haven't found anybody willing to take them. The pound is not an option because they'll kill them if they are fearful or react violently to negative stimulation, and they will.Quote:

From what you've written, you failed to train or socialize them properly, so it's hardly surprising they couldn't be trusted to know how to behave with loose chickens. As far as I can tell, the ONLY one to blame for any of this is you and the best thing that could happen to those dogs is a new home.
