Dogs who are socialized and integrated into the family pack do not behave this way. Period. From what you've written, you failed to train or socialize them properly, so it's hardly surprising they couldn't be trusted to know how to behave with loose chickens. As far as I can tell, the ONLY one to blame for any of this is you and the best thing that could happen to those dogs is a new home.
I agree,I also believe that dogs who come with with some sort of trauma require an even larger amount of attention and rehabilitation, which I am not able to provide. I did not choose to bring the dogs home and I would love to rehome them, but I haven't found anybody willing to take them. The pound is not an option because they'll kill them if they are fearful or react violently to negative stimulation, and they will.

Where are you? There is a shelter near me called Turtle gardens animal shelter. They take dogs from all over the place and re-home them or foster them out or keep problem dogs there forever, strictly no kill. They rehabilitate re-socialize, whatever is needed. They take any dog any day no turn downs. It's a long shot as you likely live no where near me. But if you call them they will try to help some how. Maybe find a near by shelter or help fly your dogs some where... Maybe some advice or direction

And any one on here with a bit of cash to spare please donate! Check out the site! :)
Please check it out its worth a shot.
If it hasn't come across I really love animals, I'll pipe down now.
