Just last month, i bought six 7weeks old turkey chicks. Unfortunately i lost one to a chronic infection, now remaining five. Since then, the infection still persists despite using 'poxformular', a drug recommended.

At first, 3 of the 5 chicks were badly infected with swollen eyelids ( like the swelling is filled with water), foamy eyes, sneezing, nasal discharge, but presently they all have the same infection, the worst ever. I'm so worried right now. I'll be glad if anyone can recommend a drug, mixture or whatever to make it go away. It's been like this for 4 weeks plus now.

They are about 11 weeks old.

I've never heard of that drug before, but after looking it up it looks like it's a drug to treat fowl pox. What you have is a respiratory infection, so that drug is not going to help. I'm not sure what country you're in, so I'm not sure what medicines to recommend, but in the US I would suggest Tylan.

Please note that whatever they have may be chronic, meaning it will come back whenever they are stressed and they will infect any other birds they come into contact with and get them sick as well.

Or, it could be a virus, meaning that even if you do treat them with an antibiotic, it may not do anything.
