HELP! My duck swallowd string! EMERGANCY!

My duck swallowd string! I need help soon! The vet is not a option because the roads are covered with snow. She's my favorite duck and I really want her to live! I need help as soon as possible. We have been giving her olive oil and she is acting completly normal!
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks, Pierre.
Is she acting normal? Give her plenty of fresh water!

If she is acting normal she will be fine and poop it out just keep an eye on her and I would keep her with the others

What type of string was it? A vet is going to tell you that your duck will either digest it (depending on the material), end up with a blockage or pass it. With no vet there really isn't too much you can do, but keep her comfortable and watch her poo to see if she passes it (if she starts to pass it you may need to help pull it out). Make sure she has grit available in the event she can digest it and lots of water available. Do not force her to eat/drink and do not try to force her to vomit.
Paper like string is a much better scenario than plastic and increases her chances of being able to digest it enough to break it down. If you can keep an eye on her I would keep her with her friends unless she starts to act distressed. I would be worried that separating her right now might stress her out which isn't what she needs.
