HELP MY DUCKLING

Pics
Where are you located? If you're in the USA, so many places deliver or ship feed nowadays. If you can get them started on a duckling feed or an all flock feed, that'd be wonderful! I also suggest you get some nutritional yeast to sprinkle on the feed, because as I was saying before, Pekins need even more nutrients than other breeds of ducklings. I purchase my nutritional yeast from Amazon and it's delivered straight to my door. I sprinkle some over their feed and they gobble it up, even as adults

I hope the vitamin B-complex helps. I could be wrong and its not a deficiency, but that is what I would do if I were you. It wont hurt him/her to try, so I think its worth a shot. It probably wont help immediately if that is the issue, but it should help in a few days to a week. Good luck with your baby, and try to get some sleep. He'll be alright. :hugs

I have a Pekin duck and hatched Pekin x khaki Campbell’s in December
My babies are on chicken starter for 3 weeks with 1tbs of nutritional yeast per 1 cup of feed then I switched to grower feed 3/4-1:4 then 1/2-1/2 then 1/4 to 3/4 3-4 days per switch till fully on grower
I also added 1mil to 4 cups of water of vitamin B complex in a separate water bowl once a day
Perkins really need the extra niacin in Their diet as well as the proper feed of starter them grower so they don’t have to much protein and develop angel wing
Don’t feel bad not knowing all this as we learn as we go.
I’m only giving you the info now so you can change things up to help them develop with strong legs and healthy
If feeding anything other then feed they also need a separate little bowl of chick grit
Peas are good for niacin
Not as a meal but as a extra
Babies need a bowl big enough to duck their heads to keep the nose and eyes clean.
Also they need heat and cool spots in the brooder
I will keep you and your babies in my thoughts and check back with hopes of good news
