I'm sorry about your duck, I agree with everything that has already been suggested. How long after you switched back to the duckling feed did this happen? It almost looks like wry neck to me, I know that can cause some real behavioral issues. Do you have Vitamin B complex on hand? Assuming no, you can get it at your local feed store, if you have one near you I would suggest trying to get some of that soon, maybe it will help.
Keep up with the sugar water, and keep him/her warm. Pekins are very susceptible to vitamin deficiencies since they grow so quickly.
Your doing a great job, keep up the good work! Remember, your doing the best thing possible for this duckling, try to keep calm and make rational decisions, s/he is in very good hands. You got this. :hugs

Okay, I'm definitely concerned about a vitamin deficiency at this point. Do you not have any duckling food? Oatmeal is not nutritious enough for ducklings, and that along with the deficient layer food may be causing a vitamin deficiency. Get some B-Complex as soon as possible. I would put them back on layer until you could get some duckling food. That is going to be more nutritious than oatmeal.
I understand being far from a store, as long as your able to get some things by tomorrow I bet that will be just fine. I think getting some B-complex in him ASAP is probably a good idea.

I understand being far from a store, we're pretty far from a store as well. Do you have any friends who may be able to stop and grab something for you? I think getting some B-complex in him ASAP is probably a good idea.

Your duckling isn't sitting so oddly? This is great news! If he continues to improve, maybe the heat was the only issue. I think getting some duckling feed ASAP is still a good idea, but its great your seeing improvement!
I'm sorry, its so hard to have a baby with issues. I recently was dealing with an injured baby, and I know how worrisome it can be. He'll probably be alright, you've done everything you possibly could, now the best thing you can do is get some sleep so you can help him more tomorrow. He needs sleep too, it will be good for the both of you. Sendings virtual hugs, you've done an amazing job. :hugs

What do I do with the complex B do I crush up a pill or what??
What are the ingredients in that? It may work. The complex that I'm talking about is made my Rooster Booster for poultry, but the one you have might work. Human supplements can't be used for poultry. If the ingredients are okay, then I would give 1/2 or 1/4 of that pill and crush it over his favorite treat or food.
