Yes I agree with all these replies and I thank you all for yalls concerns. I will not take them back to the lake again and the only swim time they will get is in their kiddy pool.

Good idea. You could also build them their 9wn little pond that they can actually dive in. My ducks adored their two ft deep 10 ft long hand made pond. But you could do a deep pond that's just the size of a kiddy pool to if your up for a little hard work.

We just combined two large thick plexiglass tanks from my step dad's work. They loved it while it stood.

I just got a mixed pool that's deeper and gave them some steps. It is a pain in the behind to clean.
