Help!!!! My favorite Rooster is ATTACKING ME

My Favorite Rooster (Olive Egger "Charli") just started attacking me he was so sweet. I have tried to "Humiliate" Him infront of the hens but that does not work like it has in the past. I have tried making myself bigger to scare him NOTHING WORKS but i do not want him to go to the chop house please Help!!!!:hit:hit:hit:hit
Some breeds of chickens have more aggressive roosters than others. Again, this is a mistake of not researching the overwhelming variety of chickens available today. When I was a kid the choices were so standard and so limited but we live in an extremely globalized and spoiled world now where we can get whatever we want.
In addition, the inbreeding, hormone filled foods, etc. is making chickens act weirder and less natural like when I was a kid.
I always start by selecting my roosters from the chicks that I want to keep. The healthiest, best looking, etc. then I tame them right away.
Carry them. Feed them by hand. Do it daily. I keep them in the kitchen.
It is sort of too late as she said. You can try and tame it by carrying it with you and in the garden alone. Remember, their primary purpose is to protect the hens. Once alone, this instinct will drop away more out of sight of his flock. He is king and the boss! He doesn’t care who you are. He will sacrifice his life for the hens even if he knows he will lose.

I am having the same problem. My EE Roo, Rusty, is gonna have to go I'm affraid. He was born last February, so this is his first spring as a mature rooster. His instincts and hormones are taking over. If i could've caught him the other day when he attacked, i would've broken his neck i was so mad at him. I was in the coop gathering eggs and he attacked out of nowhere. Caught me completely off guard. It wasnt just intimidation and flogging either, he attacked like a pitbull! 🤣 i had a whole dozen of eggs in my shirt and he busted every one but two. Those two i threw at him, as well as a 2x4. 🤣 its comical now, but it was bad. He slit all the way across the top of my wrist, got my legs (i had shorts on like a tard). I had yolk from head to toe. Im lucky hes so young and his spurs are still small (though sharp). If he was older with more lethal spurs, it could've been really bad. I ended up waiting till he went to roost and got ahold of him and clipped and filed his spurs so atleast it would do less damage the next time he attacked. I made sure to hold and pet him for a little while before letting him loose. He acted better for the next day or so, but he's right back to his fiesty self. My husband and I have learned to have weapons on hand, but my 4 children are frightened and vulnerable. It never fails that when they are on the trampoline, he makes a beeline sttaight to it and starts attacking them from beneath the trampoline. Im am running after him with the waterhose a couple times a day. I've even resorted to a splat gun. (A fully automatic toy gun that shoots orbees.) I kind of wanted to see if he would outgrow it and give him a chance, but my childrens safety and comfort comes first. Their peace of mind that they can safely play outside without worrying about him. He gorgeous so i don't want to just off him, but i also don't want him to become someone elses problem. I just hatched chicks from him, so i guess hes done his duity so might as well enjoy a dinner with him. I prefer them baked with skin on! 🤣

He caught you stealing his future offspring.

As children are most vulnerable, you should separate him in a wire cage or dog crate until you make up your mind and invite him to dinner.

Aggressive roosters attacking children are the most tasty.

I get rid of my aggressive roosters well
I rehome them. It’s too risky taking them down to be sold as some bad lawbreakers buy them for cockfighting.
Again, people! If you plan on trying to have a pet rooster and I have had many!
Select a non aggressive breed and raise from chicks with lots of handling etc love
