HELP!!! My female quail is screaming VERY LOUD!!!

Do you only have one? Quail hate being alone, so giving her a friend might stop her.
I have button quail in my living room and also sometimes have one calling in the night, but it's usually when they are unhappy about something - like when I remove the big chicks from their parents for instance.

Well, yea I only have one and I did try to give her a friend. That friend had common quail disease and I gave her friend back and I have her on medication.

DK is probably right, she's lonely. Sounds like she has Ulcerative Enteritis? It's an acute and highly contagious disease of quail caused by Clostridium colinum, a bacterium. A results of drinking water contaminated with feces. Causes ulcers of the intestines and caecae. Usually is fatal to most game birds. Turkeys and chickens can also become affected but the mortality rate is lower, around 10%. Tetracycline is administered via their drinking water.
I use to have a commercial quail operation. It almost wiped out my entire operation before I could get under control.

Yea that is exactly what she has. I put the medicine in her water and it turns a golden/light yellow color. I've had her on it 8 days now. The vet says that we should have her on it for 10 days and she has recovered significantly.

Yep, with quail, it's an absolute must have clean water. Your lucky shes recovering....most don't. It can wipe out a flock in a couple of days, before you realize their even sick.
