May I jump in here? I also have a hen with the same symptoms. She's been sick for almost 2 weeks. If it was Mareks wouldn't she have died by now? Apart from not being able to balance, she appears to be in perfect health. She's about 2 years old. All advice appreciated. I wanted to add a video but the file is too large.
Mareks can kill quickly, slowly and sometimes not at all. Mareks is a viral form of cancer so not every bird reacts to it in the same way. Many just become immune to it, others carry it for years before a stressor can fire it up. Most will show symptoms at around 5 months because they are sexually mature which can be a big stressing trigger.
