I have a 9 week old silver layced wyandotte hen who is have serious problems. SHe is holding her head at a very strange angle. she holds it a little low and with her head cocked with one eyes straight up and the other strait down, and she will sometime spin her head so it is copletly upside down with the back of her head towards the ground and her eyes facing strait up. she is having some ballance problems for obvious reasons but she still gets out and scratches around with the other girls. she is still eating and drinking but it is obvious there is something very wrong. any one have any ideas? I lost a chicken to a hawk 3 days before this started . is it posible she was injured in a hawk attack? thaks for any advice or help =)

I think it's more likely she sustained a nerve injury in the neck by another chicken. I've had similar problems before, mostly with roosters, and it takes a while for them to get normal again. Keep her safe.
