If he has bare skin and the skin is not broken, then you don't have to do anything for him. Unless the skin is bare because of mites.

You kow, it is all well and fine to be a minimalist, but you really shouldn't base your life on assuming that other people can guess what you want.
 
i havent put anything on it yet should i?
Is his skin scratched or wounded [tore chunks of flesh off?] if not then he will probably grow out his feathers, but you have to watch for infection and flies if he has wounds from doing this, flies will get on it and lay eggs which will be maggots, not a good thing. So tell us about his injuries. another thing if you keep waiting 24 hrs between posts your ducks health maybe have serious problems.
