Help my rooster!!!!!

So I went to feed my hen and rooster breeding pair this morning they are silkies and the rooster was laying on his side and had yellow vary watery poop around his back end so i stood him up he walked a few steps and the shot out a stream of yellow watery poop out i separated him from the hen put food and water with him
Im just clueless about what is wrong please help!!!

There are many possibilities. A vet visit may be an option for you.
Veterinarians are expensive; another option is to try antibiotics for digestive infections.
I'm sure other BYC members will have other ideas for you.

What is his age? What is he fed, including treats and supplements? Current weather conditions? Is he actually eating or drinking? What does his crop feel like... empty, squishy, hard?

Any chance he got into something toxic, like an oil spill or poisonous plant?

We were told he is around 6 months old he is being fed naturewise non gmo layer feed he is also occasionally given scraps. It has been raining on and off for the past few days right now it is 45 degrees and sunny i don't think he could have gotten into anything
Right now he is walking around but very lethargic he is eating and drinking
We are located in north Carolina

A vet is not a option right now i don't know where we could get antibiotics what are the symptoms of a digestive infection?

I would consider switching both of their feed... either to the starter or even the meat bird formula nature wise offers (if that's the brand you like)... roosters do NOT need the added calcium in layer... and Silkies specifically can sometimes need higher amino acid content that what most layer feeds offer. Excess calcium *can* (doesn't mean will) cause issues if fed long term to non laying birds... such as gout, kidney failure and even sudden death. I don't suspect that as your current issue, given his age. I bred Silkies for a few years... while most are fine, on occasion and individual could use a vitamin boost. If you have any poultry nutri drench maybe offer a little in the water... or add a human B complex. It should help boost his energy level a little but also his immune system will get some support... I personally am not about anti biotics unless it's deemed necessary... the body produces it's own. Besides many things chickens face are viral which aren't effected by antibiotics which kill both good and bad bacteria. Instead offer some probitotics to return gut flora back... some folk use raw unfiltered apple cider vinegar in the water to achieve this. A little dab of yogurt, even some buttermilk or soured milk or sour cream... in small amounts, all are sources of probiotics if you have any available... it's worth trying.

Maybe he ate something that didn't agree with him. What do his dropping look like now?

How long have you had him? Do you know if he ever had to be treated for coccidiosis as a chick?

The laying on his side, made me consider Marek's. It isn't fitting exactly, but something to be aware of... do you know if he was vaccinated against it? I'm not crazy about Silkies, but he's pretty handsome from what I can see.

If there's no worry about him getting her messy from the diarrhea I would consider keeping them together. If diarrhea is ongoing, I would provide some electrolytes as preventing dehydration is key.

His droppings look the same except they smell fermented
We have had him since February the 8th he was a gift from my grandfather who got them from a flock swap so i don't know if he was treated for coccidiosis as a chick or if he was vaccinated.
We just switched their feed from chick starter to layer feed on the 23 so he hasn't been on it for long but after it runs out i will start giving them the starter feed again
I will try to see if he will eat some yogurt or sour cream would adding Gatorade to the water be the same as electrolyte?
Right now he is back in with the hen because it stresses him out to much to be away from her.

Today he will walk a few steps then stumble and fall onto his side

He's new to you and your property.
I would treat them for Coccidiosis. Can you get some Corid and start that today?

I do agree about feeding chick starter or an all flock/flock raiser feed -especially if you don't know his (or her?) age. Personally, I feed an all flock year round since I have roosters and sometimes mixed ages as well. Everyone can eat it and I don't have to change feeds. Oyster shell provided free choice to supplement Calcium for the hens in lay works for me. My egg shells are very hard.

Yes, it works in a pinch.. maybe offer some straight and still plain water on the side.

Did you get a chance to check his crop condition at the end of the evening and in the morning before he eats and drinks again?

He's new to you and your property.
I would treat them for Coccidiosis. Can you get some Corid and start that today?

Yes, I was also thinking this is a possibility as well due to being a new property.

Still having an apatite is what leans me towards... possibly marek's. Just recently switching form starter... *shouldn't* equal vitamin deficiency now...

Since I have suggested supplementing... please do NOT supplement vitamins WHILE treating with Corid... if you try that route as they negate each other.
