Make certain to steralize the cutter.. Don't know where it has been style.

I'm going to take a wild guess and guess if a vet was an option they'd be at the vet instead of on the internet.

For that wound I would pluck the feathers back about an inch from the wound edge, flush with saline & chlorhexidine, then coat it with Neosporin. Do not use Epsom salt or peroxide.

Did you see her get hit by a car?
How long ago did it happen?
It makes zero difference I am just curious.

Are you going to be able to keep her indoors or in a place where no flies will get to her until she's fully healed...if she heals?
