Help! My wee one is wheezing!

I'm new to the chicken world. When I went to open the coop this morning, one of my 17 week old bantam cochins was still on the roost and I heard a noise. I went inside and found her to be wheezing. No discharge from the eyes or nose. I immediately separated her. What do I do?!?!

Is your coop really dusty or has a fair amount of poop in it?

No...we clean the coop and run every two weeks and put in fresh shavings. Just did it yesterday morning.

I bought some Vet Rx, rubbed it on her head and under her wings. I put it in all of the birds waterers. We'll give her some straight down the throat before bed. Is there anything else i can do?

I would be spraying Oxine around and fine misting it above her head a couple sprays three times a day it's super good stuff.

I'm wondering if the dust and cleansing agents didn't cause some irritation. Bring her in, watch her closely and see how she is in the morning.

I hope it's just something minor. We lost 4 birds today to a predator. I can't stand to lose her too.

Uggg! I just found her dead. 5 in one day! This is killing me! Now I'm worried aout whether my other ones have it on top of the predator running around!
