Help,..Need immediate advice for dog attacked chicken!

she is my dog. She is a westie ...a terrier. it was a freak accident as our young son and friend did not latch gate entirely in her fenced in area. She is away from the remaining two and away from injured gal. I will use soapy solution. Iodine was VERY dilute and warm. Thanks for your help

A similar thing happened to me today,my dog was able to tear thought the chicken wire (he's has a torn up nose) and killed 5 of our 6 2 months old chicks. I have one buff Orpington left,she is in a dog crate with sawdust,my hubby just put two small kids teddy bears in tere and she is snuggled up with them,she is obviously in shock.
Should we/when sold we think about getting a few more chicks? Don't want t cause her any more shock,and don't want the chicks t be pecked by the bigger chicken.
Pleas help, I am quite distraught over this loss ;(

Did she make it? I cannot imagine her suffering. I would have put her down.
