Help need info on Wazine 17 ?

A good friend of mine & long time chicken fancier advised me that once you use Wazie 17 liquid to treat chickens their eggs can never be eaten again... now that said I have used wazine 17 on my birds for the initial and I'm gonna use Vermex organic pellets as a matinance / follow-up. I will also sprinkle food grade DME around as well.

Could their be truth to this ? the Wazine bottle instructions are very vague.

Many posters on here say to wait 14 days for consumption of eggs but where does this instruction come from?

I would like to see some feedback on this topic as well. I did read on a forum not too long ago to wait 14 days after worming with Wazine 17, then start collecting again.

Yes, I read that same post a very nice lady wrote on here about whole worming process using wazine 17 and follow-up meds, But as I stated above others have begun to question the safety factor.

I have used Wazine-17 on our birds in the past and I eat their eggs now. When I did my research before using it, I was told to wait 2 weeks after the treatment is stopped before eating the eggs. I think we waited 3 weeks just to be safe. It has been about a year and a half since we stopped treatment and no one has croaked, so I think they are fine.
