I decided to wait on worming them.. They seem to be getting better (I think..) Now for the sulmet it says to treat at full strength for 2 days then cut it in half for 4 more days. Expect for the acute fowl cholera which says treat full strength for 6 days. Which direction should I follow?

I would do the 2 days then cut in half.

a new quail has began to bubble liquid/water out of it's mouth.. if anyone has any idea what this is please post!

Did you separate the buttons that showed the symptoms from those that didn't....is the bedding area wet by chance? For all of them getting the symptoms one by one, something is up.

Yes. No bedding is dry. The sick one seems to be breathing out of it's mouth now

Oh dear, that's not a good sign. Is it now just the one cbbq or did the other ones get better?

The other ones seem o.k for now. So it's just the one of them.

Ok well just an update.. I made each pair of buttons a giant cage outside. Each cage has dirt flooring. I've been putting them in their cages during the day cause they love to take dust baths. When they are out in the cages is when I start noticing the fluffed up one breathing out of it's mouth/fluid coming out of mouth. So I put it back in it's own brooder and then it seems to perk up. Could it be the outdoors?
