Help needed. Duck paralyzed legs

I'll Have to get someone who can figure that out here. They need anywhere from 100-125 mg of niacin a day. If you can figure that out.

If you can start him on vitamins that has a good supply of niacin and you use this complex for your ducks hopefully it will help. But he needs to have water therapy just laying with out exercise isn't going to help and can make things worse with the muscles.

@Miss Lydia I think it might have been the niacin. I don’t know how quick you would expect results from that but this week the owner did send me two pictures. Taken one day in between. He’s doing better! When he walks he’s not quite there yet but tomorrow he will be fine again I guess. thank you so much

Results can happen pretty quick , depends on how bad the problem is. I am so happy to hear this drake is making such good progress.
You found the owner of the duck and they are giving niacin. I was thinking you had the drake. Just make sure to tell her to not stop the vitamins because of possible relapse.

Yes Because the duck was ringed I knew someone was missing him. So put on my detective hat and together with the guy who operates the local bridge and therefore knows almost anybody, tracted the owner down.

Of course I was more than happy to take care of him until he was better but she (ofcourse, I would do the same unless I trusted that person really well) insisted on taking him home with her.

I will ask her not to stop with the niacin for now. Hope she will listen!
She will let him with the others again tomorrow. (free ranging) Already told her that I would give him rest at least untill after the weekend. Just to be sure
