Help needed for little billy

Oh, we don't get baby aspirin they don't allow it for under 16's because of the risk of Reye's syndrome. Would a reduced dose of an adult one be ok?

I would not suggest giving adult aspirin - it is probably much stronger than baby aspirin! I am English and understand about aspirin - if it is really necessary only give him a tiny amount - it may be worthwhile reading about strength of adult aspirin as opposed to baby aspirin.

Baby aspirin as far as I have read on the internet is 81mg.... so adult must be much stronger - if you have aspirin check the mg on the bottle and if necessary give the appropriate amount of one adult tablet - i.e. say half? to your chick!

I'd say more a quater or less of an adult aspirin. They taste awful so you'll have to flavor it somehow.

A baby aspirin is 1/5 of an adult one, 81 mg, and an adult one is 325 mg.

I wonder if it's sold there as a heart attack preventive for adults? Same dose is commonly used for that purpose, 81 mg.

I managed to get soluble aspirin so I've put some in his water, it get so confusing when things have different names
