Help needed

My golden comet is 1 1/2 years old Henretta is her name. Yesterday she sounded like a fog in her throat. Very low sound not her normal chatty self. Today she is sneezing. I'm new to chickens and love this girl. What do I need to do????

It sounds like she may possibly have a respiratory disease. Most diseases can make flocks carriers for life. How long have you had her, and do you have other chickens? Separate her from others. If it is a virus such as infectious bronchitis, it would help to give antibiotics. But if it is mycoplasma or a bacterial disease, symptoms may be treated with Tylan or oxytetracycline in the water.
