A bit difficult as it's the lid of the incubator that gives the heat
the small greenhouse I was going to put them in

Once the lid is off the temperature shuts off.
I could put the lamp over the tray but it's only a 7w

The process of chicks hatching leaves bacteria in the incubator. As the temperature stays warm in the incubator the bacteria grow. Leaving chicks in the incubator with growing bacteria will more than likely kill the chicks. Taking them out to eat and drink is not enough. Waiting until tomorrow or Wednesday to take them out is too long. Get them out NOW.

Set up a brooder in a non drafty part of the house. Turn the heat up in that room if you have to. Even of it's 70 F in the room is better than staying in the incubator.

Can you get a cardboard box, put shavings in there and their food and water? They won't freeze.

I've had mom hens who have taken their two day old chicks out into 40 F degree weather in wet grass and the chicks were fine.

Put them in tray with light. Also out heating on.
they don't seem to like the light. Running and falling. Then they wiuld be ok
crying alot
