Help! New baby duck had heat lamp fall on it!:(

My other runner had mucus too and she was trying to get it out and it flung into her eyes. She was blinking to try to get it out but she got a film over her eye.. I tried dunking her head to clear off her eye but she wasn’t dunking her head herself after that. Her eye looks okay now but I’m wondering if that’s what happened with the other one and the mucus started trying..? The other runner with the bad eye can open her eye but not a lot .

So the duckling is very active and is eating a ton. He is trying to open his eye slowly so I think I panicked before I should’ve. Thank you guys for your help!

You have received a lot of good advice here, and you can just take it from there.
The key points are that they need to be warm (90 degrees) and dry.
I have made brooders out of cardboard boxes. I cut the ends and tape them together to make them larger if I have to.
I keep my chicks and ducklings indoors until they are feathered out.
The electrolyte solution is good, and you might want to give them some B vitamins.
Coming through the Mail can be tough for chicks and ducklings, and that can be the source of their problems.

Okay. His eye is still close but he opens it (looks like no problem) then closes it idk I think I’ll just wait it out. Thank you for your suggestions and advice! I will be moving then to a large brooder this morning. Thanks again,
