i have just picked up 6 chicks from a local hatchery. I have a polish peep that is just peeping really loud and obnoxious like there's no tomorrow. the other 6 are quiet and stuff, and its the 'where's my mommy?' scream. Is there anything I can do? is there something wrong? he is drinking well, picking at food, nmo pasty but, but just screaming!

HELP!!!!

He does seem to be really wobbely and does stumble a lot.

There most be something going on with this chick for it to be stumbling around and screaming. Do you have any save a chick? its vitamins and electrolytes that you mix in water. I won't be without when i have chicks. will it not snuggle with the other chicks? how about temps in your brooder?

i think she maybe was cold. she seems to be a lot younger than the other 5. when i picked them up at the hatchery this afternoon i noticed how much smaller he/she is. I am wondering if she isnt a todays hatch? when she goes to sit, she just kinda just splots her little but backwards feet forward.
