Help! New chicken owner. Help with breeds?

Just got these two adorable babies but want to know their breed so I can learn more about them. Please help. Also, any extra advice is much apprecuated.

Welcome to BYC and the wonderful world of chicken keeping!!!

The chipmunk pattern (that is shown in the photo that is displaying) is common to many breeds -- leg color, whether the legs are clean or feathered, etc factors into identifying which of those breeds the bird might be.....and those are not visible in this photo.

Many breeds look like that as chicks. Try again when they are feathered in.

Oh no...I guess I will just have to wait. Their legs are not feathered.

Please try to get new photos of them at about 6-8 weeks old, and we'll be glad to check them out for you.
