Hey guys, I have a Saxony who seems to have either bumblefoot or a thorn in her foot I've tried a bit of home surgery but am not really confident and wouldn't want to hurt her. It's clean but just seems to be hard and swollen and I don't think my poking around is helping. I've been soaking in epsom salts, putting salon on it dressing it and making her a bootie out of a disposable glove but I'm not sure I'm helping. I'd hate to be making it worse just because of ignorance. Thanks

Not a very good pic sorry guys. Pulled the scab of and there's no wet puss just looks like healing tissue? Kind of a pale yellow. Can't see any thorn so soaked in epsom again, salon and dressed it. Apart from being swollen (probably from poking) it looks pretty tidy. It's not hit to touch either xx

Do you think it's healing then? So worried I'm making things worse! X
