I have a black tailed buff jap that went broody a few weeks ago and now her eggs have hatched and then left them sometime last night. She left because her nest was on a countertop so I moved her to a more secure place on the floor. she had 2 bantam eggs and 1 standard egg.. The standard egg had hatched and was out and was so cold and the bantam eggs hadn't hatched yet and I only hear 1 in the bantam eggs cheeping but i could be wrong

So I put the chick and the eggs under a buff orp hen and she took them.
Will they live? do I need to do anything extra for them? PLEASE HELP!!

I'd just leave the buff with the other chick, if that hen is doing OK with it. Glad the other momma came back to her eggs. Hopefully she'll continue sitting on them, and they'll hatch soon!

Congrats!!
