Help? No internal pip but external egg cracked.

If there are other eggs that are externally pipped, opening the incubator should be done only if necessary. If there are other chicks hatched that are giving this one a hard time, then those should be moved to the brooder. I always leave at least one chick in the incubator to help motivate the ones still in the eggs. After absorbing all that yolk, food and water aren't really needed at this point in time.

I haven't seen any others that have externally pipped. I'm trying not to open the incubator at all. There are not any other chicks in there. The other three that have hatched are all in the brooder. So, how long can I keep this one in there?

Also, I think it night have splayed legs. At least in one foot. Does it ever correct itself or do I need to do something to help it?

sorry I would give you a direct link to this info, but we are revitalizing the info since the website move as its all screwy, I pray those links work yet!! it will show you how to fix those legs, if you have a teacup use that first before taping legs
