I have two female anacona ducks- both act normal regularly. Today realized one wouldn't run out of their fence when I usually let them out. Maybe broody? I thought. But as I walked in a found a bloody blood clot looking thing. Weird but didn't think too much. She still wouldn't leave and was acting strange- I open the coop and find a long instential looking thing which when I opened up filled with gooey blood sorta thing. When I MADE her leave the coop she wouldn't forage as usual just stood around and would open her beak and close it open and close it weirdly- not normal. I separated them and made her stay in a small area. I saw her eat - sorta and she would drink water. As the day went on she seemed a bit better and let them reconnect in the fence later in the day. .. couldn't figure out what was happening. Is this just something that can happen? Posting pics of the weird blot clot and long stringy thing. when I picked her up her underside feathers was dirty and bloody but not obvious outside cuts or anything must've come from inside.

do they free-range?
i know you said you let them 'out' but i want to be sure of what 'out' means
any other symptoms?
how does her 'crop' area feel, ducks dont actually have a crop but i wonder if she ingested something bad
how is her poop?
can you post some pictures?

So they are always in a 10x10 fence with a coop inside the fence where they freely roam. But daily I let them out of the fencing area to roam the entire yard until I leave or sundown. She could have maybe eaten something bad. The blood clot isn't even what makes me
Nervous it's the long stringy thing that had thick gooey blood inside.

Sorry also I have only watched her poop once and it was very watery. I'll try to pay more attention. I'm confused what you mean by feel her crop?

ducks dont have crops like a chicken their esophogus actually expands to hold a lot of food before it passes into their proventriculus, but i was wondering if maybe she had a blackage between the two.
