1) What type of bird , age and weight (does the chicken seem or feel lighter or thinner than the others.)
She is about 7 to maybe 8 years old.
2) What is the behavior, exactly.
She seems to be acting normal.
3) How long has the bird been exhibiting symptoms?
A few hours maybe.
4) Are other birds exhibiting the same symptoms?
No, I looked at all the other chickens eyes and they seem normal.
5) Is there any bleeding, injury, broken bones or other sign of trauma.
There is a little bit of blood, and I think some puss.
6) What happened, if anything that you know of, that may have caused the situation.
I think she may have poked her eye on something, I am also thinking possibly the wood shavings but doubt it.
7) What has the bird been eating and drinking, if at all.
She has been eating and drinking normal.
8) How does the poop look? Normal? Bloody? Runny? etc.
I haven't seen any of her recent poop but I believe it is normal.
9) What has been the treatment you have administered so far?
Nothing, I don't know what to do.
10 ) What is your intent as far as treatment? For example, do you want to treat completely yourself, or do you need help in stabilizing the bird til you can get to a vet?
I am going to treat this myself.
11) If you have a picture of the wound or condition, please post it it may help.

12) Describe the housing/bedding in use
I have been using wood shavings, I believe the bag that I currently have is fir shavings or a mix of fir and pine. The coop is too small for the 10 chickens and 8 ducks that we have as well as it doesn't have enough ventilation, I am working on the ventilation and am planning on building another coop soon. And they free range all day and get put up at dark.
I accidently posted this before I got all the photos and finished typing, so that's why it is edited... Thank you for any help!

I got some more picture's of her eye, and got a pic of her other eye that is not swollen. I also got a picture of the shavings that are in the coop and the stuff that is still in the bag. Her eye does not feel hard it is very soft it feels like there is air in it.

I am going to try and get her eye cleaned up with a Q tip, I have vetrx on hand and plan on using that on her comb and waddles. Should I separate her from the rest of the flock?
It is really windy right now and yesterday was really windy to with winds of 40 to 30mph and gusts of 50mph, the tempts during the day have been around 30 to 50 degrees. We got a little bit of rain last night and a couple days ago. I think she may have poked her eye on some chicken wire, or something blew into her eye. I will take a picture of what I believe may have caused this.

I have been doing research on how to help her, but am not entirely sure on what to do. I would greatly appreciate any help given. Last year when this hen was broody she would walk around like a turkey, I wish I had pictures of her doing it, she never hatched anything. I call her Turkey or Turkey butt.
This is from a few hours ago, I had put some vetrx on Turkeys beak and comb, waddles after I cleaned her eye.

This is what I think she may have hurt herself on...

The chickens and ducks like to go inside of it and they like to try laying eggs between it and the house I try keeping them away from the door part of it but that's hard to do, I plan on cutting the door off of it, and making sure it is safe for them to be around it as I think it is a good ish spot for them to hang out.

Terrific photo of your hen, but can't see the eye. The swelling is apparent, though. Can you see any injured tissue? Or is it all swelling?

When an eye is infected, either from coryza, a respiratory disease, or from an injury, you need to remove the pus in order for the eye to heal. You do that by putting gentle pressure around the edge of the eye to push the pus out. It will be thick and waxy. Try to get it all out, then flush the eye well with saline eye wash. (Make your own from recipes on the internet or get it from the bandaid shelf in the pharmacy.

Last, use terramycin antibiotic eye ointment in the eye twice a day until the eye heals. Get that at any feed store or Amazon.

I see some scabbing around the eye, possibly she injured it. I agree, I would clean the eye with saline, try to wipe or press out any pus, then apply the eye ointment. Do this a couple of times a day. Warm compresses can be used to help soften up dried blood and may make it easier to open her eye.

Thank you!
I have more photos of her eye that I got today after I cleaned it I will post them now. I feel like under her eye looks a beat up in a way but am not sure if that is just from the swelling, she pulls her head away quite a bit when I try messing with her head.

Here are the rest of the photos, these were after I let her loose from the area I cleaned her eye at. she had more puss coming from her eye. It was cold today so all the chickens were huddling up or staying in the coop for most of the day. She has been acting like a normal chicken from what I have seen, so hopefully it stays that way.

Tomorrow I will try doing a warm compress, hopefully she will hold her head still for me.
The only thing I have done so far for her is just put vetrx on her and took some Q tips and tried cleaning her eye up better.

Be sure to get any drainage off the eyelids and out of the eye with a warm wet compress and flushing her eye with saline. Terramycin eye ointment is very good, from a feed store, or I sometimes use a clean tube of plain Neosporin or Triple Antibiotic Ointment twice a day. Get the ointment into the eye, just a dab. I would get the chicken wire cleaned up. She looks like she was picked on or injured.
