Help!!! Orange Mystery clusters on my flock

Is the orange mess still responding to the vinegar? Can you show us what it looks like, now? If there's another response from Univ of MD, it probably won't come until early next week. Sometimes weekends are a pain ... I can't believe I just said that!!!!

I will bathe and post pics tomorrow. It's easier for me to look at their body if they are wet (getting a bath) I haven't seen much on them except some very small spots. But since I thought it might be fungus I decided to not bathe them for a while to see if that would help it go away. Tomorrow if I'm not called in I'll bathe 1 or 2 and see.

So I went and bathed my 3 juvenile silkies who are about 3 months old. I DID NOT SEE ANY BUGS OR ANYTHING CRAWLING ON THEM. I took pictures of each bird. I'm going to post 3 separate replys for each bird. The 1st one I bathed seemed so much better. Just a few spots here and there. Between the toes. One on the vent, and on his legs. Will be calling our county agriculture dept tomorrow.

***bonus if you know if they are male or female lol
I think the 3rd is a female and the other 2 male.

The second one I was frustrated bc this one is more covered than before and his skin is peeling in one of the pics. None on his vent. Just all over its poor body.

These pics it almost looks like the orange is coming out from under the skin...like it's trying to get out. Or no?

The 3rd one, who my daughter calls star also had more than she did last week. I cleaned and sprayed the coop and run and yard with permethrin AGAIN last week. They have access to DE bath. I haven't sprayed the vinegar and stuff in while bc I thought the spots were gone! I was wrong. I have a number to contact the Tarrant county agriculture dept tomorrow. I will bathe the 2 adults and 2 babies sometime mon-wed. It's just so stressful on them to be bathed alot, I also think they start picking and packing which causes more issues.

I'm really not sure. Its definately in the spaces where the feather grows. I know my juveniles are molting and my mama just hatched some eggs so she has been molting a bit as well. But even my rooster and the 2 new hatches have it. My seramas are in a separate enclosure on the other side of the yard, they dont have anything. Although when I bought them in April they were going through a hard molt and still are.
