help out on breed id

    here is my beautiful brown bird, his name is Brownie, each morning I greet him with a good morning my beautiful brown bird. I want to know any guesses on his breed and how long do roos live??

    Wow, he's beautiful! He looks like a cross between a Doninique and a Crele OEG possibly. That's my guess anyhow. [​IMG]

    No clue... maybe a Dom mix... very handsome! I'd love to have some birds with color/markings like that!

    I have seen a few birds very similar to yours. He is probably a dominique x rir or bo.

    I would venture to guess that he is a cross between a Dominique and a Buff Orpington.

    Now... is it the result of a barred roo over buff hen or vice versa? Still trying to understand the barring gene.
