help! outside coop built… please see pic &read description!

i’ve attached a pic of what it looks like now.
partner is just planning on getting a metal roof and covering the sides with tarp…..
he’s not going to do it i’ve been with this idiottttt for 13 years. i know for a fact he won’t. can’t i get on a ladder and just screw thick waterproof tarps on the top???
sides (cut &pit wire for windows) and water poor tough tarp all over? and overlapping so i can get it in? he refuses to even get flooring. last wednesday i said in one week if its not done (it’s now been over a month) (bc he has excuses for EVERYTHING) i will take everything in the account and buy a shed. and i’ll take the joint savings for myself bc he’s hiding money so im taking it infront of his face.

i don’t okay game but he’s addicted. this is my house but can’t afford it myself.

or what’s the easiest way to deal with this? sell the wood? buy a shed? i have no idea.

&whwre would i put the nesting boxes??? and build them out of what??? we have TONS of wood i just don’t want the boxes sitting on the ground. at least a few cut plants of wood, screwed in and then the bottom of the box screwed in. and complete the box

Sounds like maybe you're in a relationship you don't want to be in?..

As for the chicken coop, you have a few options:

-Pull it all down, sell the wood, and get a prefab coop at Costco or Tractor Supply or a shed that can be modified.
-Look on YouTube or here on BYC for ideas and figure it out how to finish it yourself. You don't need a man to do it for you!
-Hire someone to finish it

It looks like you have a good frame so it wouldn't be too hard to slap on some plywood walls and cut ventilation and a door, get some metal roofing panels. It's actually pretty fun once you get started and you'll feel proud of yourself when its done! The chickens will be happy, of course.

Tearing it all down sounds futile. Find someone with a little experience to help you finish it. It will probably cost the same to buy a rebuilt coop and it won't be as sturdy as you have started.
