!!!!help paralyzed cat!!!!

Keep him warm and comfortable. He might eat a little if you put something yummy on your finger and put it in his mouth. With good nursing animals sometimes recover from injuries like this. If he will, you will see some improvement (maybe not much, but some) in a day or two. If nothing changes in that time the kindest thing may be to put him down. I am sorry.
ok thankyou he is warm and ate some hopefully he will be ok until monday

With crush injuries like this you need a vet who can x-ray and give pain meds. He's likely broken not just his spine but possibly ribs too. I'm sure he's in excruciating pain right now. If you can place him on a heating pad on low that will help keep his temp up too. Keep an eye out for swelling and any neurological symptoms as well. Do you have an er vet in your area? He's going to be in so much pain until Monday. There isn't anything over the counter for bad injuries like this. He really needs meds.

Be sure to keep changing the towels under him so he is dry. My little dog Sammy became paralyzed from the neck down. His paralyses was due to a seizure or a stroke or something, not an injury Anyway, I gave him good nursing care and he has recovered. Needless to say, I took him to the vet. She sent Sammy and me home with some steroids, some antibiotics, a bag of IV fluids to be given under the skin twice a day, and a fistful of syringes. I am afraid poor Sammy felt like a pincushion. I had another dog that got stepped on by something and was paralyzed in the rear legs. He recovered nicely too. In both cases it did take a while, though.

I am so glad to hear that all your misfortune turned out well.

Just a comment. Sometimes getting to the vet immediately is just not an option. The OP did say she intended to take him. My Sammy got sick on a Friday evening. The vet clinic was closed. It didn't matter because I couldn't get Sammy there anyway. I cannot drive at night. I did get him in to the clinic first thing on Monday morning. If a person lives out in the sticks like I do, services that one has access to in a more urban area just are not available and you just have to do the best you can with what you have.

Is your kitty now moving his hind legs and/ or tail? Good if yes, not good if not. He needs that trip to the veterinarian's as soon as possible, poor guy.
Cats are really tough, and will hide signs of pain if at all possible. Assume he really hurts!
Let us know how he's doing, and what's really wrong when you have him at the vet's, hopefully tonight.

I'm so sorry! I'm sure you're heartbroken 🥺 Keep an eye on his gums too. If they stay pale then he is not getting good blood circulation. You can push on them with a finger and count how long for the redness to come back. Under 3 seconds is ok, 3-5 seconds not great, more than 5 seconds and I'd be nervous something is slowly bleeding or crushed internally. I hope you can get him to a vet first thing Monday morning. I've been known to be waiting outside my vet's door to catch the first one in that day.
