help! pekin duck crop is HUGE

i was just looking at my female pekin and noticed her crop sagging pretty low and being much fuller than usual.. not quite sure if its impacted or sour crop (i have yet to touch her crop i wanted to get an opinion here first) or if its something else i am completely unaware of. she was recently adopted from a shelter about 2 weeks ago but this is a new occurring issue.

I've never seen such a big crop area, what is she eating? maybe she is over eating since she was in an animal shelter and trying to catch up. You need to get her and feel this is it soft, hard and smell her breath.

Holy moly that's big!
If its hard and tennis ball sized probably impacted. Sourcrop is full and liquidy. I knoqw from experience what this can do to a bird so make sure you check quick! Massage and feed her water with some Epsom salts if you can. Lack of energy and inability to poop are signs that's it's getting serious. If you can get her to poop that'd be great.

Looks to me like she found something she really liked to eat..In my opinion its nothing to worry about...

You need to catch her and give her a thorough exam then let us know if it feels squishy or hard.
