Help!! Please.. Baby Something Found

It is a mouse. You need to feed it goats milk with syringe. every 30 minutes during day and through the night every hour. You also need to help it pee with Q tip soaked in warm water. You can get the formula from most pet stores. http://www.kvsupply.com/KVVet/dept....fCode=Google&gclid=CPLwtp7q3qkCFULc4AodkRUrWw If it is dehydrated you may need to hydrate it with pedialite or gatorade for 24 hours.

I did not read all the comments so this may be too late or you may know this already

I do not think it is an opposum or a squirrel ( don't think it is a squirrel) the treatment is the same

Most likely it is a rat. If it is an opposum you need to get it to a rehabber. It will need to be tube fed until it's eyes are opened. They are slow growers.

oh...now I can see the true size of it with your hands holding on to it. I take it back... I don't think it's a squirrel...too dinky.

seeing the vid (i miessed it the first time...
id agree, not a squirrel, too small, but still not thinking rat...mabe a mouse species in not familiar with...
if its a possum baby (still thinking possibility) then id put it around the 40-50 day mark...

but they all grow very quickly and it seems to be doing wll in the vid so im sure w'll get a better idea in a few days

HI guys!! I have some bad news.. the baby just passed away.

He wasnt right from the beginning..i think he had injuries from falling. He kept falling his back and going in circles... it was really weird...
I think maybe he had some sort of head injury from falling? Or mom knew something was wrong with him and pushed him out of nest??
I dont know... Poor little guy.

But he passed away warm and with a full belly in a comfy nest.... so... i'm at least thankful for that much.
