It would be hard to know exactly what happened to the eye, but it could be from a peck wound or injury, infection, exposure to ammonia fumes in droppings, or other causes. I would use some antibiotic ointment in the eye twice a day. Terramycin eye ointment from a feed store, plain Neosporin, or a prescription eye drop such as enrofloxacin would be good. A vet might prescribe something with prednisolone as well. Do you have good ventilation inside your coop?

Yes, the coop is well ventilated and kept clean. I will try some terramycin ointment or neosporin starting tomorrow. Thank you!

A closeup picture of her left eye from the side might be helpful. In the one picture, it appears that she also has conjunctivitis (pinkeye.) Her eye looks blind, but I would use the ointment for awhile just in case of infection, as well as lubrication. Have you had her for a long time?
