HELP PLEASE! in the middle of an assist hatch & my guide is unavailble now!

yes, they have fresh food and fresh water 24/7. I'm up all night and only sleep 4 hours or less a day. So i make sure they are always supplied. I didn't have this problem with their mom & dad when they were babies or his sibling from this hatch. It must have everything to do with his assist hatch.

I got the flush free niacin B-3. It is 500mg per capsule....ugh, how much do i put into a gallon??? and do I quit the poly vi sol? The poly vi sol has 5 iu vitamin E and the save a chic has 960 iu vitamin E per pound and this is a single serving packet from the box which is for 1 gallon of water. So how ever many packets are in the box I assume would make up the 1 lb. I don't know how many come in the box because I dont have the box, just some packets.

ok...so no to this niacin. I've been giving him the poly vi sol since he was able to hold his head up...so 2 days I think.
I'm still wondering if he hurt himself jumping all over everything. I've been reading those links too.

He could have injured his neck, yes. What's the brooder temperature? I think you are doing everything right, I just don't want to miss a detail.

Praying for you all - - - will check back in as I can.

@Lacrystol
... I NEED YOUR HELP AGAIN :(

When i posted the video earlier my Scoodie was fine....now he is not!  I just checked on him & his neck is bent and it isn't straightening out!  He is doing everything normal though.  Is it a nutrition deficency?  Is that why they are eating so much constantly??? I'm giving them game starter & polyvisol ( 1 dropper in the water once a day (for both to share) and then water with just save a chic electrolites ( 1 pouch per gallon of boiled & cooled down water).  Am I over or under doing it???

Or, could it possibly be an injury?  maybe he hurt himself on the water bowl I have in there?  He is forever jumping all over it!

I'm so lost with this lil guy :(

thanks so much for hanging in there with me.

Ok could be a defincincy, check the protein count in your food, you have save a chick electrolytes but also get some probiotics. I would really rather you use poultry drench, works great for ducks, POLYVISOL is that with or with out iron?? POLYVISOL is good but it takes longer to go into affect, give him a coup,e of drops, also get some vitamin e and b.

@Amiga
  do i use human vitamins or do they make them especially for ducks?  Have a brand name I can go by?  the polyvisol has Niacin, B4 & B12.  Is that not enough?

Polyvisol does not have enough to cover there needs. Get some human vitamin b complete, put a pill in a quart of water, but also give him a couple of drops of the poly, make sure it's without the iron. He's not going to like the taste, he'll shake his head so watch his throat as long as he swallows some HES go to go, don't force it.

I like to use vitamin b complete because it melts really good when you put it in there water and yes, the others are ok to have it too. Just give him a couple of drops of the poly by mouth, get a towel cause hell shake that stuff all over you. Lol

So you have a problem child.......

If you can get your hands on some poultry drench, this stuff works GREAT! Tractor supply has it.

But if you can't get any just keep working with what you have but get some vitamin b too. You can't just get vitamin b human kind it should be the complete, I have tried just straight vitamin b and the pill never melted so it was a waste, In my opinion. The complete melts really fast.
