That was my post and the only way I know that is I just started working for USPS after not working for ten months.

Also there are sellers on here that think you can’t put insurance on shipped eggs which is false; they can be insured as long as it is packed well.

Next time I get eggs I'm going to get them insured and have the special handling
 
Thanks very much. have thought of buying insurance anyway since the label on the box might help the handling, even if it wasn't possible to get compensated. The Special Handling is a definite must, I think. Wish I'd known about that earlier.
 
I use to work for UPS. I worked in one of the main air hubs in Louisville , Ky. I do not see how they can guarantee they will not be in below frezzing temps. During the winter you would freeze your butt off in the hub. Plus seeing how they treat packages told me never send anything fragile threw them.
