Help! Please! The yolk sack is not absorbed !!

Please help! My duckling hatched and the yolk sack is not absorbed! He was hatching on his own. I really want him to make it!

A lot depends upon how much still needs to be absorbed. I would cover the yolk sack with antibiotic ointment and try to limit the ducklings movements until it is absorbed. Good luck.

Okay! He is in a cup right now.

He got stepped on by the mom when he was in the egg. He started hatching, and I gave him to the mom because he was outside of the nest. She did not want him so I took him inside and put him in the incubator. He started pushing his way out then he got stuck. I peeled a bit of shell off, then he hatched. I only saw a glimpse of the yolk sack, so I’m not sure how much needs to be absorbed.
