Help Please........What did I just Buy??? Update..PICS

They have spurs? Like little spur nubs or actual grown out half inch to 3 inch long spikes? Nubs I can imagine, but if there are some bonafide rooster spurs... they have to be at least 5 months or more! Most my heavy breed birds don't pick up big spurs till at least 8 months, while the little leghorns and such can start them up at like 5 months.

I still stick with taste out a rooster and see if it's any good. And if you don't need big feed suckers, have dinner!

I've got a "batch" of meaties growing right now. The legs look too long. Mine have short fat legs and few feathers on their underside. Their bellies nearly drag the ground when they walk.
I'm butchering this weekend. This is my first time with meat birds and, even after reading what y'all have said about their eating habits, am still amazed at how much they can eat. AND......what goes in does come out!! Friday will be 6 weeks and I've gone through nearly 200lbs of feed. I'm going to have the best garden this year!

The hen that I had that just died weighed in at 17 pounds at close to 10 months. For the person that said that they can not get it on is wrong. This guy takes care of BIZ!
