I know I have had lots of questions and things lately, I apologize. I appreciate all the help and advice, yall have been wonderful. I have 2 eggs left in the incubator that i had taken from my hen who had too many. They should have hatched on the 16th or around there. They are silkies. We kept seeing movements and growth so we kept incubating, tossing out (after eggtopsies) ones that didnt make it. We are pretty hands on over here. One of the two eggs looked dead. No movement, no internal pip, no nothing. Candled yesterday couple times and today. So, we carefully opened the air cell area (just in case). No movement at all even after gently touching it through the white membrane. Then suddenly it looks like it is "breathing"....slight movement. So we put it immediately back in the incubator bit I couldn't tell where the beak is and the membrane is NOT dry. So do I just closely watch or what? There are blood vessels too close for me to open the membrane and if it iisn't quiite ready i don't want to do anything else.....I could have sworn it was dead.
