Thanks. I’ve just applied some more coconut oil and a little bit of feather was starting to stick. I managed to unstick it with the oil.Looking fine now.
At this point, just watch for anywhere the membrane might stick to the feathers. Eventually he will start struggling and really showing you he wants out. You may have to chip away a little more shell, or he may be able to push out on his own. Just don’t pull his bottom out yourself. Let him do that final push. And immediately check the navel to see if it’s closed up or still any bit open.
