This morning my Rhode Island hen was doing okay I went to check on her a couple of time and then at around 3 I went to check on her and she was unconscious. She’s breathing but her eyes are closed and she won’t open them, she won’t drink but she moving her legs but can’t walk or stand. Can someone please help me?

I’m very sorry about your hen. Could you provide more details so one of our experts can be of more assistance. How old is she? Is she currently laying? What do her poops look like? And photos are always helpful. I’m sure someone will be here shortly that can help.

Posting a picture of her would help a ton. It sounds like she might be egg-bound, or she may be in shock. Try taking a look at her vent and see if there is egg dripping out. Or if she is breathing heavily. You say that her legs are moving but she can't stand or walk. Can we get a picture of her legs? Did she leave the coop this morning? You went out to check on her a few times throughout the day, why is that - did you see that she was acting differently this morning, or did this behavior just occur.
Are her eyes bubbling or foaming? Any discharge from the nose?
Sorry for all the questions, but they may help get to the root cause.
I am no expert - so hopefully, someone here can help you out!

This is what her legs look like. She acted normal today. She got out by herself, I usually go out to check on her because I’m very paranoid and always have to know where she is and what she is doing. And then I found her under a chair in the dirt she looked like she was sleeping and then when I called her name she didn’t wake up so I picked her and brought her inside.

This is so sad! I'm so sorry this is happening. I agree that posting pictures wouldn't hurt. I would be worried that she is dying. :hit Mail me if you need support. I am here.
Thank you so much! I really appreciate it.
