I must be truly pathetic!! Either that or I have no life. I actually wander around with my free-ranging chickens and lift rocks for them so they can go after the crickets. We all know the best rocks now. The ladies LOVE it!!

There's a plastic cricket tube where you twist the lid and the holes line up so that only one cricket can get out at a time. This is a wonderful way to lose less crickets. It's also a good test of which are the smart chickens; They watch the hole when they realize crickets come out of there. The dumb hens just wait to chase the bird with the treat in it's beak!
