we put meal worms up the ramp the first day, and after that they were ramp pros - walk up, walk down, fly down , jump part way up, walk the rest of the way, race each other up... but until the meal worms, they really weren't into it.

I also have my rungs much closer together - they are about 3 inches apart, which may be too much when they are older, but it's perfect for them right now.

The ramp might be slippery. You can buy a self-adhesive non-slip at a home improvement store. It basically looks like rough sandpaper with a sticky backing. It's used on ladder rungs and such. Try using some of that in strips to make the surface less slippery.

Turns out the ramp was a bit too steep. They now put themselves to bed every night. Thanks for all the input, guys
