Need any advice you can give...lost one hen early in the week, 2nd hen down..not eating and has diahrea...also noticing diahrea in another chicken...please advise! new at this

This site should help you find the problem. This might be the problem but I didn't read all the description so don't panic yet.

Coccidiosis is a disease of fowl caused by a microscopic animal or protozoa and is characterized by diarrhea, unthriftiness and variable levels of mortality. In spite of much research to advance the control and treatment of this disease, it remains the most costly disease of the poultry industry.

could be coccidiosis, if so your chicken that died has given it to your other chicken, vets would be a good option...

Corid for coccid, tractor supply stocks it for cheap.

called this am, found corrid at the feed store~do I buy liquid or powder and it has not instructions for chickens just cattle. any help again would be appreciated.

once I treat with corrid how long till I can eat the eggs? and if this goes untreated will I lose the whole flock?

For 20% powder dosage is half tsp per galon for 5-7 days, there is no egg withdrawal period.

Got the corid and am treating now! Wish me luck! Do I need to bleach and water the ground, next boxes etc?
