help please

I am so sorry for your loss.

I am grateful however you found him and posted this thread on his troubles.

I myself have learned so much from reading this and that article on how to give medications is amazing!

I hope to think that your dear little fellow didn't die in vain and served a purpose here to hopefully save untold others.

Thank you and blessings.

Wow sorry for your loss, its so good of you to take in an animal like that and try to help it. I did that with a stray cat and I ended up spending 200 bucks just to have it put down. Lots of good info in your posts tho. I wonder if chickens are built the same as far as putting medicine down their throats?? Im giving some baby chicks antibiotics in the same manner. This stuff is sticky and tastes horrible so its about the only way I can do it. The bigger one will eat the mealworms dipped in the goo, but the one that needs it most wont even touch it if it has the medicine on it.

Thank you every one for your kind words. Love the story of the peafowl that play! that is so beautiful! I can imagine these clever birds playing. The thought makes me smile and even more determined to find young birds I can hand-rear :)

I am so sorry :( to breed peacocks has been a dream of mine and where we live we have them wander into our yard. They roost around the beach and we often find their feathers in our yard. Such beautiful birds. You did all you could and that is wonderful.

It is so sad but happens with our lovely birds....
